The main tourist seasons are December to February and July to August. You’ll enjoy the best weather during these times (although July and August can see rain) but also have to deal with the busiest beaches and most crowded resorts. March and April are generally quieter but still very pleasant, as the rainy season doesn’t begin until May. Whenever you choose to visit the Dominican Republic, you’ll be rewarded with some of the best beaches in the Caribbean, at a price that may be more reasonable than you imagined.
